An Interim

Well, wonders never cease – I’ve been nominated for a Versatile Blogger Award! I was unaware that even was a thing – but you can read about it here:

The Versatile Blogger Award

When you get nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award, there are four simple rules you must follow, which are the following:

The Rules:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you
  2. Include a link to their blog in your post
  3. Share 7 facts about yourself
  4. Nominate 15 bloggers of your choosing

So, here goes – a lovely bit of news on a dreary Monday morning:

1/2 – Thank you 18 Cinema Lane ( not only for the nomination but for all the lovely comments you’ve left after some of my posts. I appreciate them all!

3 – Seven Facts About Myself…Oooh, this’ll be fun:

  1. While I blog about all things Hallmarky, Romance, and Love, I do love me some True Crime, Investigation Discovery, and disaster movies.
  2. I’ve acted in Shakespearean productions on both sides of the Atlantic.
  3. I re-read all of Jane Austen every year – except Emma. That one takes me every other year.
  4. My kids secretly love it when I put them in my blog – even if they say “Moooom, don’t put that in your blog.”
  5. My favorite movie is The Sound of Music, but I usually fast forward through “Something Good.”
  6. As someone who once got detention for not wearing socks to school, and who wrote a whole monologue about why socks are unimportant, I now delight in them, and welcome any kind of novelty sock into my house.
  7. I married my Mr. Darcy (or Mr. Tilney, as Henry Tilney is my favorite).

I nominate the following:

1 – Shannon Winslow –
2 – Annabelle Troy – Imagine Classic Literary Characters living in the Modern World.
3 – Drunk Austen –
4 – Beauty Beyond Bones –
5 – What David Read –
6 – Trey’s Disney Kingdom:
7 – The Aroma of Books –
8 – Reviewing All 56 Disney Animated Films and More!
9 – Convivial Supper –
10 – Babbling Becky L’s Book Impressions –
11 – Rosie Freckle Reads –
12 – Shakespeare and Beyond –
13 – Shakespeare Unlimited –
14 –  Harlequin Junkie –
15 – Literary Lemonades –

So – Happy Reading People!

It’s a Major Award!

That might seem snarky, but I am genuinely grateful that someone liked what I wrote enough to think it worthy of any type of commendation. Something to be Thankful for this Thursday!!!!

  1. Good post! I’ve been busy lately, so I apologize for the lateness of my response to this post. Since you like True Crime (according to the seven facts in this post), you should definitely check out the mystery movies on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. I also reviewed a mystery film from Hallmark last month for a special double feature I coordinated on my blog. Here’s the link if you’re interesting in reading it:
